Inside Our Purchase Order Management
Excel and Google Sheets Template
Do you live in PO purgatory? A place of clutter and confusion? Escape unorganized purchase-ordering practices with our Purchase Order Management Template for Microsoft Excel & Google Sheets. This dynamic template is smart - automated with formulas, an invoice generator, and dashboard for analyzing your purchase order activity.
If you find this template useful, you may also like our Warehouse Management, Supplier Relationship Management, or Shipping and Receiving templates as part of our Supply Chain and Operations Template Collection.
Let's dive into how this spreadsheet template works.
As with all of our templates, you can reference the Introduction sheet for questions related to customization, special features and instructions.
Start in the Suppliers - Vendors sheet where you can record a list of vendors you regularly work with and their contact info. Their info will cross-referenced on other sheets to reduce your manual entry efforts.
Next is the Items and Stock Management sheet. You can record all your items and stock levels - Safety Stock, Beginning on Hand Stock, and Adding to Stock. The columns highlighted yellow calculate automatically based on your inputs so no need to fidget with those.
In the PO Management sheet you can log all purchase orders, Codes, Quantities, Status and more. All the columns in grey autocalculate to reduce redundancies and streamline logging details of your purchase orders.
The PO Dashboard is a powerful sheet containing both a Purchase Order form you can share or print, as well as a Dashboard which makes it easy for you to filter, sort, and analyze Purchase Orders by specific variables such as Department, Item Category, PO Status, and more.
A dynamic slicer adjusts to the time period you want to calculate the dates for, making it easy to find the information you need for your purchase orders.
You can easily streamline and manage your Purchase Orders with this template, both in Excel and Google Sheets. Now, you have a clear escape out of Purchase Order Purgatory!
